Employee Calculators
Work out indicative figures for pay, leave, pension and retirement. Every calculator shows the method used and the assumptions made, so the result can be checked against the applicable rule before it is acted upon.
Pay fixation calculator
Indicative fixation of pay in a higher scale from the present basic pay.
How it is worked out
- 1.Add one increment of the present scale to the present basic pay.
- 2.If the resulting amount is below the minimum of the higher scale, pay is stepped up to that minimum.
- 3.Otherwise pay is fixed at the next available stage of the higher scale, computed from its minimum using the stage interval.
Assumptions
- Stages of the higher scale are assumed to rise uniformly by the stage interval entered.
- No personal pay, special pay or protection element is considered.
